The Jay that I remember.

I remember when I first seen you on the bus, washed out purple hair, old fashioned cardigan and a smile. I am so glad to have been a part of your life, even if for only a few short years. You were one of the nicest, kind hearted and funny people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
New Years eve parties, long summer days spent sitting outdoors, chilling in a small clearing near the A1 listening to music and even creating our own, walking for miles to get everywhere come rain or shine, but nothing mattered because we were teenagers, and invincible.
You were a great cat lover and I will never forget the time we had to chase a number of cats out of the house and you were the only one who thought to take a kind approach and carefully take one of the cats into your arms but you were rewarded with a horrible scratch and it was just so funny, that memory will stay with me forever and always brings a wave of laughter.
I regret not being there when things got tough, I was too busy with my own family that I lost sight of yours but I promise I will always be there to remember you, remember that smile and everything about you. It is hard to fit many great memories into one small piece of writing but I have tried. I hope you're with my brother, looking out for each other and for us loved ones until we all meet again.
