I knock on your bedroom door and say good morning.

I see your beautiful smile, it lights up the room

I hear that laugh of yours, so heartfelt and real, full of joy.

I hear you in your room playing your guitar, so talented you are.

Then you come running down the stairs to see what's in the fridge.

I ask you what you’re wearing as you leave to go meet your friends.

I tell you to keep your phone charged so I can get hold of you.

I ask you to make sure you've got water for bed

And every night, I knock on your bedroom door and tell you just how much I love you.

Then I go down stairs and light 3 candles and cry.
